Barely one week after ailing Nollywood actress, Ngozi Nwosu got N1m from
MTN sponsored TV Game show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, the amiable
governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola has donated a whooping
N4.5m for Ngozi`s treatment abroad. The governor made this donation last
week’s Wednesday in Lagos after reading of Ngozi`s financial
solicitation from the newspapers. The amount, close sources say is the
balance of the N6m Ngozi needs for her kidney operation in the United
Kingdom. While a total of N2m was said to have garnered before Fashola`s
donation, the governor who got to Ngozi through his aides gave out an
additional N500, 000 for miscellaneous expenses.
